Bwana Ray (a.k.a. Ray Borel) comes from the sugar-white sands of Panama City
Beach, Florida. An avid, dedicated Parrot Head bringing you an acoustic mix of Jimmy Buffett tunes with other tropical
artists and Buffett influences thrown in, along with acoustic rock, folk, and country songs from the 70’s through today.
Bars, porches, decks, pools, resorts, coffee shops, boats, beaches, plazas,
festivals, tailgate parties, grand openings, private parties, community or corporate events, etc. are perfect settings for
Bwana Ray’s acoustic guitar/vocal performances (check out my previous venues on the "Gigs" link).
The set list can be 100% Buffett
for your Parrot Head party or can be tailored to a variety of music to suit your event -- it's up to you! The
Buffett mix includes lots of older, obscure tunes blended with the more popular and newer stuff. Other artists include Kenny
Chesney, Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark, John Prine, Van Morrison, Bob Seger, Lynryd Skynyrd, Lyle Lovett, Garth Brooks and
many more (check out my partial song list on the "Six String Music" link).
A Bwana Ray gig is a lovely cruise to the shores of Margaritaville.
